"Following a run of successful gigs in London and the North West to promote their self-titled debut album in 2010, Saddleworth rock and roll trio The 99s (Johnny West, James Loughlin, Adam Quigley) decided to retire back to the hills and plan how to take their brand of catchy, sun-kissed melodies to the next level.

Dozens of songs had already been penned for the follow up album, but the new songs demanded a much larger sound, and the three instruments just weren’t filling the gaps. The boys landed on their feet when fellow Oldham troubadour and multi-instrumentalist Jay Moran became available to help create a fuller sound, and an extra voice to add to the already Byrds-esque harmonies."

The track I believe which will be a good song to use for our media production would be '[What A Night] To Be Alive. This is the song I believe would be good to use but I am yet to speak to my other team about this song because we decided on researching our own song then at the end all coming together and deciding on the best song to use, this is the song I believe is the best to use.

The reason why I chose this band is because it sounds like an good song and a song which is also easy to make a music video out of as well by the sounds of it. I also believe the key to a successfully music video is it has to be up beat and happy which this song is.
